Paneer ki juicy shami kebab!


If you are vegetarian but onion n garlic you can eat than please do try this recipe. 

It is a very very easy recipe for making veg shami kebabs.
Ingredients ~ 
1- 2 Cups fresh paneer grated 
2- 2 Cups half boiled chana dal

3- 4 Cups red onions chopped 

4- 1/4 cup grated fresh ginger n 8 big garlic cloves 

5- 6 medium green chillies finely chopped 

6- Salt according to the taste

7- 2 Tbsp Green cardamom powder   

8- 1 Tbsp Cloves powder

9- 1 Tbsp Nutmeg powder

10- 1 Tbsp cinnamon powder

11- 1 Tbsp black pepper powder

12- 1 Tbsp garam masala powder

13- 1/2 cup mix of fresh green mint leaves and green chillies very finely chopped 

14- Oil for frying

15- Corn flour n water mix 

Method – 
1- In a non stick pan fry red onions, 6 medium green chillies, salt, green cardamom powder, cloves powder, cinnamon powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder very well on low heat till onions turn light gold brown.
2- Close the heat and add grated garlic and ginger to this mix. 
3- Grind this into fine thin paste. Add little water if required.
4- Now add paneer and chana dal to it. Mix well and grind to finest paste.
5- Now keep the pot in fridge for 4-6 hours.
6- Take it out and make balls of this mixture and in between keep little pinch of chopped mint and green chillies. Close the ball.
7- Lightly flatten the ball to the maximum.
8- Make a thin paste of corn flour n water.
9- Dip the balls into it and deep fry in to heated oil. 
10- Serve hot with rumali roti.
