Easy donuts balls with goodness of almonds and banana.(Ramadan special-1)

This is one of the most easy recipe for making as you can make them in advance and keep them in fridge for long shelf life of 1 week.(Tried already). Just take them out one hour prior to consuming.

Tastes great with ice creams. You can fill them with jam or cream frostings too for more deliciousness.

Recipe ~


2 Cups of all purpose flour

2 Medium eggs

1 Cup powdered sugar(must)

1 Cup powdered peeled white almonds

1 Big banana ripest

1/2 Cup butter

1 Tbsp cinnamon powder

1 Tsp salt

2 Tbsp Vanilla essence(must)

1/4 cup milk(optional)

3-4 Cups of vegetable oil mixed with 3-4 tbsps of desi ghee.

1/2 Cup mix of powdered sugar with cinnamon powder

Method ~

1- Crush n mash well peeled banana in a big bowl and now eggs, butter,vanilla essence and sugar.Mix very well.Not the milk. Keep the milk for the last because is the dough is very tight later than only mix in the milk.

2- Now add all the rest of the ingredients and make a loose dough.

3- Heat a wok or pan and heat oil up-to medium high heat.

4- Grease the palms with cold vegetable oil and make balls of dough and start frying on the lowest flame. Fry till golden brown and take out.

5- Let them cool. After that sprinkle powder sugar and cinnamon powder mix. Store in a air tight bowl with lid and keep in fridge.
