This is one of the best shahi tukda recipe, you can make at your own risk. May be your guests start haunting you for having it again and again.

~ Recipe ~(Serves 4-6 persons)
8 Bread slices (big sandwich milk bread)
(Chop the tough corners and scissor them in to fours of each slice)
2-4 Cups of vegetable oil mixed with 4 tbsps of desi ghee
1/2 Cup sugar
2 Tins of evaporated milk (2 cups)
1 Tin of cream (1 Cup)
1/4 Cup of rose water/1 Tbsp rose essence
1 Tbsp green cardamom powder
2 Pinches of saffron
4 Almonds sliced thin
1- Heat the oil n desi ghee mixed to highest and low the flame.
2- Fry the bead slices till golden brown from both sides and take out.Layer them in a serving bowl.
3- In a non stick pan take sugar and melt it.
4- Quickly add evaporated milk, milk and cream.Stir well.
5- Add saffron and green cardamom powder.
6- Let it thicken for 5-8 minutes on lowest flame. Now add rose essence/rose water and mix well.
7- Pour over the fried bread slices in the bowl.
8- Sprinkle almond slices and keep the bowl in fridge for 5-6 hours.
